The Federal Government on Monday said it is monitoring Coronavirus cases in the Northeast and Northwest.
The government also said it was probing spikes in the cases, particularly in hotspots and other parts of the country.
It said the Muhammadu Buhari administration was identifying and assessing low to medium and high burden areas in order to assess and modify its strategy.
There have been cases of strange deaths in Kano, Yobe, Bauchi and Borno states in recent weeks.
National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Dr. Aliyu Sani, announced this on Monday at the daily briefing of the task force.
