Ex-commissioner hails monarch

A FORMER commissioner in Ogun State, Chief Waliu Olajide Ojuko, has hailed the Olota of Ota, Prof. Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, for his commitment to the peace and development of Awori land and Ogun State.

He described the renowned Mass Communication don-turned-monarch as a leader, who always inspires his people to be committed to the progress and development of Awori land, Ogun State and Nigeria.

Ojuko, speaking in his hometown, Ota, congratulated the traditional ruler on his second year coronation anniversary, saying Obalanlege is a monarch committed to promoting peace and unity among the Awori.

The ex-commissioner said: “It is a fact that Ota has witnessed development in all areas since the Kabiyesi ascended the throne of his forefathers two years ago.  Awori land has enjoyed peace.”

He said that he joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating HRM Obalanlege’s prosperous reign.

“It is my prayer that Allah will continue to preserve him for many more years and grant him good health, so that he can continue to remain a source of inspiration to his subjects in Aworiland and other Nigerians,” Ojuko said.

He urged the monarch to cooperate with others, to enhance the standard of traditional institution.
