COVID-19: PAN Nigeria donates food items to Kaduna govt

As part of its corporate social responsibility, and in a bid to support the Kaduna State government’s efforts to ease the hardships on people during lockdown, PAN Nigeria Limited has donated food items to vulnerable people in the state.

The items, comprising 60 bags of rice, 60 bags of beans and 100 cartons of noodles, were presented to the State government yesterday by the company’s Head of Human Resources Mr Nazif Rufai, and the Head of Corporate Communications Mr Oladeji Bamidele.

The Permanent Secretary, General Services, Mr Muhammad Bashir, while receiving the items on behalf of the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Balarabe Lawal, commended the company for its gesture towards the people of Kaduna State.

“PAN Nigeria has been a leading corporate stakeholder in Kaduna State for several decades now, and we truly appreciate this donation which is a mark of its strong association with the state”, he added.

The Managing Director of the auto company, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed who was represented by Mr Nazif, commended the administration of Governor Nasir El-Rufai for providing appropriate medicare and relief to Kaduna people in a bid to contain the global pandemic.

“Kaduna has been a wonderful home for PAN Nigeria Limited from the inception of the company in 1972 till date, and we shall strive to remain a responsible corporate citizen towards the government and good people of the state”, he said.
