ONDO State Police Command has confirmed the rescue of a naval officer, Lt Commander Ajare Uchegbulah Amadi, who was abducted on May 17 along Ago-Ajayi-Oba Highway in Akoko area of the state.
Commissioner of Police Undie Adie said Amadi was rescued yesterday following an intense security manhunt for his kidnappers who abandoned him in the forest and took to their heels.
