The Senate on Thursday confirmed Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem as the President of the Court of Appeal.
Senate President Ahmed Lawan pledged National Assembly’s readiness to provide legislative support to reform the judiciary.

Her confirmation followed the presentation and consideration of the screening report of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters led by Senator Opeyemi Bamidele (Ekiti Central).
