With the COVID-19 pandemic and gradual opening of the economy, expert is set to unveil Hospitality Podcast (business) Show which will showcase inspirational stories, business success strategies and forward thinking insights from leaders in the world of hospitality.
The Show which is slated for Saturday 20th June will be held in Lagos.
According to the host and creator of the Show, CEO 2wenty2 Hospitality Coy. Yvonne Mordi, the Show was birthed to help listeners learn from people’s past experiences and what better ways to learn in order to move forward. “No doubt the pandemic has had a devastating impact on Hospitality industry, therefore, bouncing back is going to be a slow process. One of the ways the industry can bounce back is through collaboration and innovation” said Mordi
She therefore enjoined hotel managers to start thinking of new solutions for guest satisfaction or simply re-inventing the old.
“For instance, hotels with Conference rooms can start looking at Virtual spaces to host meetings, bigger rooms can be turned into long- term stay and of course meals can be delivered” said Mordi.
Industry players she said stand to gain a whole lot from the Podcast Show.
Her words “We have taken the time to consider what our listeners want to know, to learn and understand about the business of hospitality. The economic impact of COVID-19 has been harsh and there has never been a time for hospitality business to innovate and try news things than now. Those whose business were the most affected can partner with other sectors like the entertainment or transport industries” she concluded.
