All is now set to reset the church after being held hostage by coronavirus for some months and made by the ravaging pandemic to suffer severe damage.
Worried by the devastating blow coronavirus has dealt to the holy place of worship, a faith-based non-governmental organisation (NGO) known as Alpha Nigeria has rolled out a plan that would help the church to rebound and digitalise as demanded by the modern world.
The Christian humanitarian organisation, which is fully devoted to the spread and propagation of the gospel, is making this effort to ensure that the Lord’s vineyard bounces back stronger and better in doing God’s work.
Determined, therefore, to give the church a life-line after the unfortunate downturn, the body whose mission is to serve and equip the local church to ably aid people build and develop a relationship with God has set a stage for a virtual conference holding June 20, at 12:30pm.

The confab is specifically designed to provide digital innovations and knowledge convenient for conducting church services and making teaching and learning of the word of God effective and pleasurable.
According to a statement issued by the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Alpha Nigeria, Mrs. Tola Akerele, the conference, entitled: “Reset: Empowering the Next Generation,” among other things, aims to equip the church with new knowledge and equipment required to reach out to the next generation and prepare them to take up the mantle of leadership.
The statement noted that even before the pandemic, there was a need for the church to improve its systems to drive a digital generation of young people who needed updated and more user-friendly modes of interaction, adding that COVID 19 plague has nevertheless, accelerated that journey and made it possible for the church as a body of Christ to now have cause to come to terms with a digital future.
She said the virtual confab is a must-attend for Christian religious leaders, laymen and women and will feature dynamic speakers who will speak and proffer solutions to workable systems, introduce new techniques, technologies and have a vibrant conversation about the future of the body of Christ. They include Very Rev. Adebola Ojofeitimi, Pastor Godman Akinlabi, Rev. Fr. Paul Akin-Otiko , Chude Jideonwo, TY Bello, Moses Ida-Michaels and many others.
