Expelled Edo governorship aspirant’s father-in-law killed

THE father-in-law to the expelled governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, Prof. Christopher Ogiehor, 80, has been murdered in Benin, the state capital.

Ogiehor, an orthopaedic surgeon, who is the Medical Director of City Clinic, Benin, was murdered at his residence in the Government Reservation Area (GRA) in the state capital.

The deceased was found dead with a broken head, his hands tied, in the early hours of yesterday.

Police spokesman Chidi Nwabuzor confirmed the incident, adding that investigation was ongoing.
