Thunderstorm kills seven cows in Osun

Thunderstorm yesterday killed seven cows at Elepo village, Ifon Osun, in Orolu Local Government Area of Osun State.

The Nation gathered that the incident occurred around 3:16am. The cows were struck by lightning inside their ranches.

Seven big cows were the victims. The owner has been advised to burn them.

Confirming the incident, the Seriki of Fulani Community in Osun State, Suliaman Oloruntoyin, described it as sad.

He said: “The owner of the cow is Alhaji Abdullahi. We have begun investigation into the cause of the incident.”
