Ondo State Government denied shutting down its Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) where COVID-19 patients are treated.

It also denied online report that COVID-19 patients were sent home over striking doctors at the hospital.

Some doctors at the IDH under the auspices of the National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners (NAGGMDP) stopped attending to COVID-19 patients over alleged insensitivity of the State government to their working conditions.
