The lawmaker representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Jude Omobowale Idimogu, has urged non-indigenes in Lagos to continue to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in the state.

He spoke when he visited the palace of the Mayor, Association of Non- Indigenes in Lagos State, Chief Ngozi Ibekwe.

He said non-indigenes should maximally take advantage of the political space to benefit from the state by actively getting involved in politics.

He urged them to join the APC for political relevance.

He noted that the people should be encouraged by the fact that even if APC ceases to be in control nationally, the party would remain in power in Lagos in years to come due to its achievements.

“Take elections seriously for political relevance. Register and become card-carrying members of APC, so that you can have a voice in the state where you have investments,” he said.

The lawmaker urged the people to adhere to safety protocols as advised by the state government and Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). He stressed that Nigerians must learn to live with the disease. “Government cannot continue to lock down the state for economic reasons,” he said.
