LAGOS State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday announced the discharge of 56 COVID-19 patients from its facilities.
The patients include 12 females and 44 males, including nine foreign nationals who were discharged from the Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
The patients are 25 from Gbagada, five from Agidingbi, eight from Eti-Osa (LandMark), three from Onikan and 15 from LUTH isolation centres, who were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID19.
“This brings to 1,897, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged from our isolation facilities,” Sanwo-Olu said.

The state safety commission (LSC) said it has sealed 33 bars, gyms and other facilities across the state for alleged violation the closure of such outfits to stem the spread of COVID-19.
Its Director General, Mr. Lanre Mojola, said this in a statement yesterday in Lagos.
Sixty-seven COVID-19 patients were also at the weekend discharged from the Oyo State Isolation Centre after receiving their second negative test results.
Governor Seyi Makinde said the figure raised the number of discharged cases in the state to 992.
