Two teenagers suspected to be illegal miners have been killed by gunmen in Tunga, a suburb in Minna, Niger state capital.
The Nation also learnt five others were injured in the incident, which occurred around at 4 am on Monday.

According to residents, one of the deceased was 14.
The Niger Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the incident.
He said investigations were ongoing to get identity of the gunmen.
