A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo Central Senatorial District, Mr. Mathew Emiohe, has said leaders of the party are not worried over resignations of some appointees of Governor Godwin Obaseki and officials elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who refused to defect with Obaseki to the PDP.
He described as moles, the appointees and politicians, who threw in the towel, thereby opting to remain in the APC.

Emiohe, a grassroots politician, who is a member of the board of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, speaking with reporters in Benin, said Obaseki had performed excellently in almost four years, thereby deserving re-election.
He said: “Edo people are ready to vote for Governor Obaseki because of his people-oriented projects and programmes across the 18 local governments.
“The opposition is only interested in instigating violence to gain relevance.”
