Four dead in Niger car accident

Four people have been confirmed dead in a car accident that occurred on Thursday night along the Lambatta-Suleja road in Niger state

According to the Lambatta Outpost of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FIRS), ten people were involved in the accident.

The Officer- in- Charge of Lambatta Outpost, Route Commander Babatunde Onemola, said the crash was caused by wrongful overtaking by one of the vehicles.

According to him, the crash occured at about 11.45 pm along Kwana Bokowai and involved a Mazda and Mazda Fiat Ducato.

Onemola said six men were injured while four males were killed in the accident.

He said the injured were taken to the Federal Medical Center, Gawu Babangida for treatment while the deceased were deposited at the Sabon Wuse mortuary.
