Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Princess Abiodun Oyefusi has urged the youths not to relent efforts enhancing the status of the country.

She said the growth of any nation depended on youths commitment to it.

Oyefusi made this known during the 21st anniversary of the International Youth Day 2020.

According to the politician, the youths must be resilient and committed towards taking the country to the next level.

She said: “I celebrate with the youth across the globe on the 21st Anniversary of the International Youths Day celebration. I salute the Nigerian youth perseverance, patience and commitment towards taking the Nigeria State to a greater height.

“The theme of this year’s celebration ‘Youths Engagement for Global Action’ has shown the youth are critical stakeholders globally and why they shouldn’t be taking for granted towards growth and development of any nation.

“As a matter of urgency, Nigeria Government and individual must see the need for total inclusiveness of the Nigerian youths in other to drive our Socio-Political and economic development to a stable and sustainable economy which would increase high quality of living of our dear Nigeria.

Oyefusi added that she would do all with her power to pursue people and entrepreneurship policy that would drive result in her senatorial district.

“We will ensure Lagos East Senatorial District gain from its research and business friendly environment. I will lobby and work with all stakeholders and individuals involved in entrepreneurship and empowerment development in our senatorial district which will lead to a great Social development of our dear Lagos East Senatorial District.

She called on well meaning Nigerians to get committed to the development of Lagos East, noting that the youth are integral parts of the lofty dream to make senatorial district better.
