As at Wednesday 12th August, Sokoto State had 16 deaths, 154 confirmed cases out of 959 samples collected with two pending tests of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Also, a total of 138 patients had been discharged according to a summary update report released by the state government.

The update issued to reporters Thursday evening with zero new and no active case, also confirmed 5 new negative results making it a total of 804 negatives.

Similarly, the update indicated no new deaths and discharges recorded.
