‘We’re not with transport council’

The Logistics Practitioners Association of Nigeria (LPAN) has disowned the Council of Maritime Transport Unions and Association (COMTUA).

A statement by Ishola Aregbesola said: “COMTUA does not represent our interests and we cannot be said to be bound by any decision or position of COMTUA. We have…written to COMTUA to desist from claiming to represent the entire truckers or logistics practitioners, and we have written a letter detailing our complaints to the Executive Secretary of Nigeria Shippers Council (NSC).”
