Two persons that attended the 2020 Ikun Day anniversary Akoko Southwest council been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The two victims were abducted along Ikun Oba Akoko Road on Saturday evening.

A source gave the name of one of the victim as Surajudeen Alao.

The source said a search party has been sent to rescue the victims.

It was gathered that the victims’ family were yet to be  contacted by the abductors.

Police spokesman Tee-Leo Ikoro could not be reached for comments but policemen and the Amotekun Corps were said to have marched into the forest to rescue the victims.
