PEOPLES Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has extended the tenure of Senator Agboola Hosea-led caretaker committee by three months.
The committee’s tenure expired on August 17.
Agboola, in a telephone chat with The Nation, hoped the crisis in the party would soon end, promising to reconcile warring parties before the congress.
The senator said the committee met stakeholders to assure them of the committee’s resolve to save the party from collapse.
He said the outstanding local government and state congresses would be conducted when peace returned to the party.
