Copter crash: Lagos begins reconstruction of damaged fence

Lagos State has commenced reconstruction of the fence damaged in the helicopter crash that occured in Opebi last Friday in line with the promise of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The reconstruction exercise commenced on Monday after integrity test was carried on affected buildings.

During his visit to the scene on Saturday, Sanwo-Olu assured owners of property damaged the State would ensure they were fixed.

According to the Director General Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, the area was also fumigated.

He said: “The damaged fence is being reconstructed and the area has been fumigated. Integrity testing has been carried out on the affected buildings.”
