Côte d’Ivoire will play Belgium and Japan during the next international break in October, the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) has confirmed.

The Elephants were initially scheduled to play Nigeria on October 9 in Austria but the Nigerian football authority confirmed on Friday that their West African neighbours pulled out of the encounter due to internal problems.

Côte d’Ivoire will now travel to Brussels to take on Belgium on October 8 at the King Baudouin Stadium before battling Japan five days later at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
