THE fifth edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show tagged Lockdown edition came to an end on Sunday, September 27 after 71 days of thrilling live entertainment.
26-year-old singer and housemate, Laycon, emerged the winner of the show which had over 900 million votes.
Though Laycon won the grand prize of N85 million that include N30million cash prize, an Innoson SUV, and a two-bedroom amongst other prizes, 17 other housemates were able to leave the show with various sums.
Interestingly, Laycon also emerged as the biggest winner in earnings from various sponsored tasks and challenges in the house.

Laycon leads the 18 housemates, who won various sums, with total earnings of over N5.1 million. The Fierce Nation music act is closely followed by two finalists, Nengi, who earned over N4.7 million, and Vee, who earned over N4.4 million from various house tasks.
Erica was disqualified in week seven but had grossed total earnings of N1.1 million and $500 before her disqualification. It’s unsure if she would be getting her earnings.
The housemates won in over 17 different tasks and challenges bankrolled by various corporate organisations that include Dulux, Patricia, Guinness, Pepsi, WAW, Travel Beta, Airtel, Kuda Bank, Revolution Plus, Oppo mobile, Lipton, Ekulo, TomTom, Indomie, Johnnie Walker, and Flutterwave.
