The Yoruba Youth Assembly (YYA), an umbrella body of Yoruba Youth groups globally, has presented the CEO of Adloyalty Business Network, Dr. Freeman Osonuga, with the icon of humanity and global development award.
Osonuga was also inducted into the Yoruba Youth Assembly Hall of Fame at a special event at the Lagos office of Adloyalty Business Network last Wednesday.
YYA Vice President Ogbeni Folorunsho Olaleru, who was accompanied by Ogbeni Ayowolemi Olu-Aina and Omidan Titilayo Elemero, said Osonuga was selected for the award because of his fight against COVID-19 through philanthropic activities to indigent communities and the business support grants to startups via his non-profit organisation, Dr. Freeman Osonuga (DFO) Foundation.
They said he was also deserving of the award because of gainful employment to teeming youths through Adloyalty Business Network.
Adloyalty Business Network was not left out of the recognition as the Leadership of Yoruba Youth Assembly also presented a Certificate of Credence to the organisation in recognition of distinct leadership acumen, professional capabilities, contribution towards youth development and immense contribution in the housing sector.

Olaleru stated that the Certificate of Credence award is conferred on leading lights of the business industry who achieve success in the challenging business climate through demonstrated creativity, commitment, experience and strong leadership.
Osonuga expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Assembly for the honour while promising to continue to provide avenues for gainful employment for youths and empowerment through his philanthropic activities.
Quoting Winston Churchill, he said: “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
