Group advocates unity among Yoruba

The Chief Convener and Secretary-General of the Yoruba World Assembly, Com. Victor Taiwo, has said the Yoruba will continue to be in slavery if their  groups and leaders fail to speak with one voice to fight for the same cause.

He said the failure of prominent Yoruba groups was what led to the birth of a new conglomerate of self-determination  canopy for the Yoruba race called the ‘Yoruba World Assembly’

Taiwo, speaking at the weekend during the maiden news conference announcing the birth of a new conglomerate of Yoruba self-determination group known as Yoruba World Assembly, held at the NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan said the birth of the new group was a reaction to the failure of the previous attempt for the emancipation and security of Yoruba land.
