FCT Football Association chairman, Adam Mouktar Mohammed, has added yet another feather to his cap after he was recognised for excellent and transparent leadership by the Centre for Peace, Transparency and Accountability.
The citation by Centre for Peace, Transparency and Accountability read: “In recognition of your sterling leadership qualities, commitment to the ethics and practice of good governance, transparency, peace and nation building.
“We therefore recommend him for higher responsibilities in Nigeria.”
Mouktar Mohammed who is also Vice-President of the Nigeria Teqball Federation, has been a most welcome breath of fresh air in football administration in the Federal Capital Territory after he rebranded and repositioned the Abuja Football League, empowered the various football associations in the Area Councils and built the capacity of coaches through courses and seminars.
