Baale of Ashiwaju-Dada Town, Lagos, Kehinde Akerele, has hailed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s efforts in combating COVID-19.
He also praised the governor for his handling of the #EndSARS protesters but condemned the crisis and destruction that marred the protests.
“I believe the burning of some infrastructure by hoodlums looks like a conspiracy against Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole,” he said.
He described the CNN report on #EndSARS as unprofessional.
The Secretary of Ashiwaju-Dada Traditional Council, Prince Adesegun Ogungbayi, urged President Muhammad Buhari to assist in rebuilding Lagos.
“We in Ashiwaju-Dada Traditional Council, Agbado Oke-Odo, sees Governor Sanwo-Olu as the most active and outstanding Governor in Nigeria for his impact in Lagos and Nigeria. We wish him more success in office.”
