Kwara gets 1,000 toilets from private sector

KWARA State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has said the state has secured 1,000 pour flush toilets from individuals, ahead of the 2025 deadline to end open defecation.

He spoke in Ilorin while declaring open a public lecture to mark the 2020 World Toilet Day.

Represented by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Rasaq Raji, the governor said the gesture would assist the state in eradicating the practice soon.
