The management of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State on Wednesday appointed a 400-level student from Medicine and Surgery department, Mr Mayomikun Olawale, as a one-day vice chancellor.
“He was appointed after he came out successful in an essay competition on leadership, which formed part of the criteria of choosing a one-day VC.
“Olawale was shortlisted with two others, who partook in the competition before they were voted for by students of the institution,” spokesperson for the university Toba Adaramola said.
