Former representative of Kurmi/Gashaka/Sardauna Federal constituency Taraba in the House of Representatives, Danaasabe Charles Hosea, is dead.
A family member, who confirmed the death to The Nation, said Hosea died of suspected complications from diabetes at a hospital in Abuja.
The source said the deceased has been suffering from chronic diabetes, which took him in and out of hospitals in recent times.

Hosea was chairman of the Kurmi local government area in Taraba from 2011 to 2013 and represented Kurmi Gashaka Sardauna Federal Constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from 2015 to 2019.
He is the eighth prominent politicians from Taraba to have died in 2021.
