Philanthropist Anugwom dies at 70

A renowned philanthropist, Mrs Azuka Syllvia Anugwom (JP) is dead. She was 70.

The deceased who ran an N.G.O for the widows and orphans, died on January 19 at the Government Hospital, Owerri, Imo State after a brief illness.

She is survived by a widower, Dr.B.S.C Anugwom,  a former  General Manager at the Nigeria Airways, London Office, nine children and 16 grandchildren.

Service of songs will hold on  February 23  by 4pm at St Agnes Catholic Church, Mende, Maryland. Funeral service  is slated for February 26  at 9am at the widower’s  compound at Umuowa, Orlu Local Government, Imo State. Interment follows immediately.
