The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in the 2019 general election in Ogun State, Otunba Rotimi Paseda, yesterday defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He pledged to serve the APC and Ogun people.
Paseda also registered with the party at St. Paul Polling Unit 003, Ward 24, Ejinrin Road, Itale, Omu-Ijebu in Odogbolu Local Government.
The two-time governorship candidate said his defection from the SDP to the APC followed the decision of his people, whom, he added advised him to join the ruling party.
