Abdulkareem is Body of VCs’ chair

The Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities has appointed the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Prof. Sulyman Abdulkareem, as the Chairman of Committee of Vice Chancellors of Federal Universities.

The body also appointed the Vice Chancellor of University of Benin (UNIBEN), Prof. Lilian Salami, as Alternate Chairperson.

The appointments were announced at a virtual/ physical meeting at the secretariat of the CVC in Abuja.

CVC Secretary General, Prof. Yakubu Ochefu, announced this in a statement yesterday in Abuja.

“I wish the two executive officers of the committee success as they take over the mantle of leadership of the committee,” the statement said.
