All eyes were on Buckingham Palace on Tuesday following the explosive interview granted by Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex to Oprah Winfrey alleging racism within the palace.
The two-hour interview, handled by veteran broadcaster Oprah Winfrey, revealed allegations of racism and damaging claims that the palace had failed to provide support for Meghan when she experienced mental health issues that left her feeling suicidal.
But a statement by Buckingham Palace on behalf of Queen Elizabeth said the issue will be handled privately, as a family.

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,
“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members,” the statement added, referring to Harry and Meghan’s nearly 2-year-old son, Archie, a great-grandson of the queen.
