Wikki boss confident of beating the drop

Wikki Tourist FC will not be one of the four teams that will be relegated to the lower division after the conclusion of the 2012/13 NPFL season, the team’s Head Coach Ahmed Abdul has assured.

Speaking with futaa.com in Aba after their 2-0 defeat in the hands of Enyimba international, Coach Abdul said staying up in the elite division is non-negotiable for the Bauchi State side.

“Well actually I have confidence that I am going to survive relegation. Confidently this team is going to survive. We are all aware of the challenges and I can tell you that everyone at the club are focused on ensuring the team beats the drop at the end of the season. So our survival is non-negotiable,” Coach Abdul told futaa.com.

Currently Wikki are at the base of the log and will require more than just talk to avoid going down to the National League.
