All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Uche Nwosu, has enjoined Christian faithful to take opportunity of the Easter to pray for the nation to overcome insecurity and other challenges threatening its corporate existence.
Nwosu, in his Easter message, also called for special supplications for Nigerian leaders who overseeing the country at a very trying period.
He tasked Christians to reciprocate the gift of God by showing love to one another, just as Christ did by laying down his life for humanity.
According to him: “I felicitate with Christian faithful in Nigeria and the world. As we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we should take opportunity of the moment to pray for our nation. We should pray more for our leaders for Grace to see the country through this trying period.

“Easter reflects selfless giving as exemplified by the gift of Jesus, we as Christians should show love and also reflect on our relationship with God”.
The former Imo governorship candidate also spokesman of the pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin.
Nwosu described the late Odumakin as an activist that pursued a free and just society, adding his demise is a great national loss.
