A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Joseph Tegbe, has urged MuslimS to use the last days of Ramadan to pray for the unity and peace in the country.
He called on ethnic groups to shun divisive tendencies capable of drawing back the country’s wheel of progress.

While speaking at a Special Iftar session hosted by Ibadan APC Chieftain, Oloye Akinade Fìjàbi, Tegbe noted that the last ten days of Ramadan provide opportunities to gain multiple rewards by giving alms to the needy.
He said: “Of particular note, Laylatul Qadr, the most sacred nights in the Islamic calendar. It is also believed to be the night in which Allah shows mercy to His creation.”
Tegbe also noted that Ramadan symbolises spiritual rejuvenation.
He urged Muslims to emulate the lifestyle of Prophet Muhammed.
