Nigerian female vocalist Chidinma Ekile has expressed her thoughts about her future saying the future holds a lot for her.

“You might not understand my ways because you know where I am coming from and that is because I’ve wasted time and I need to catch up with it. The future holds a whole lot that even I cannot imagine because I don’t have the capacity to carry it but I just know that God is ready to do so much and I am expecting,” she said.

On her readiness to forge ahead in the genre of music, the ‘Kedike’ singer said she’s giving her all to succeed as a gospel act. “This is a new dimension with a new system and I’m entering with full force.”

Speaking further, she revealed that her incursion into the gospel genre of music was prophetic. “It has been ordained. It is a prophecy. I knew I was going to get here anyway but it was the time I wasn’t sure of. And there’s no better time than now. This is the right time for me to step out.”

Chidinma made a foray into inspirational music with a song, ‘Jehova Overdo’. After two weeks on Youtube, the visual of the song has garnered over 2.8 million views. The project was released under the imprints of Eezee Concepts, the label that is home to gospel star Mercy Chinwo.
