It’s not easy promoting music abroad, says Don Vs

Europe-based Nigerian artiste, Uyinmwen Omosigho, popularly known as Don Vs, has said that it has not been easy for Nigerian artiste to promote their works abroad because of the nature of the environment which they reside in.

According to the Benin, Edo State-born musician, promoting music abroad has not been a child play for foreigners like him, adding that for him to have a headway, he has to put in extra effort into what he is doing.

“It has not be an easy task promoting music here in abroad, I have to put more effort to promote my work. My plan to success is to work very hard and be focused,” said Don Vs.

Continuing, Don Vs said, ” I want to advice my other colleagues in this trade never to give up in life, and to always pursue your dreams no matter the situation and environment.

“Despite the challenges I had due to paucity of funds and financial support and how to get a platform to showcase my talents, I remained resolute and did not give up.

“I am glad today that I was able to sharpen my talent through self-examination and discipline,” Don Vs aid.

Don Vs who started his music career way back 2004 in Benin City and has won several awards, said that what inspired his kind of music are things around him.

“My inspirations are things happening in our society and especially activities happening around us here in Diaspora,” he said.
