A faction belonging to suspended Kwara State All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman, Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB), has denied the House Representatives member, AbdulRaheem Olawuyi’s claim that he gave Information Minister Lai Mohammed N32.5 million for the prosecution of the 2018 by-election in Kwara State.

Caretaker Finance Secretary Tajudeen Mohamed, who stated this, said Abdulrazaq only handed over N26 million to the party chairman based on a template agreed upon by the then governorship aspirant AbdulRaman Abdulrazaq, Lai Mohammed and Olawuyi.

Tajudeen Mohammed said Olawuyi’s claim that he gave the minister money was false.

“Every money we spent in the party during the election was given to us by Alhaji Mohammed,” he said.
