Fast-rising Nigerian rapper and songwriter Dickson Marcus, popularly known as FerbTheKing has aired his thought on the indefinite suspension of Twitter in Nigeria.

Lai Mohammed, minister of information, had announced the suspension of Twitter on Friday, citing the “persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence”.

The suspension came after a tweet by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 1967 civil war was deleted by the social media service.

Twitter’s suspension has since elicited a wave of reactions from entertainers engaging with the Nigerian creative industry.
