Suspected rail vandals arraigned in Umuahia

Abia State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arraigned two suspected rail vandals before a Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia, the state capital.

Spokesman of the Corps Ndukwe Aguiyi told The Nation that the suspects were charged to court after the agency concluded investigation on their cases.

Two of the suspects Ndubuisi Samuel and Donatus Eze were charged with removing and tampering with rail lines,-property of Nigeria Railway Cooperation (NRC)contrary to section 3(6) of the miscellaneous offences act, Cap. M17 Law of the Federation of Nigeria (LFN) 2004 and punishable under the same act.

The other suspects Biliya Musa and Sule Bula were charged with illegal dealing in petroleum products.
