The paramount ruler of Jaba Chiefdom in Kaduna State Dr. Danladi Gyet Maude has been released after spending two days in the kidnappers’ den.
Anthony Maude, a brother to the first class chief, told journalists the Monarch was released on Wednesday evening.
The 83- year- old Dr. Gyet Maude was abducted on Monday while on his farm in the neighboring Gitata community of Nasarawa State.

Although his abductors had earlier demanded for a N100 million ransom before he would be released, Anthony Maude did not give details on whether the ransom was paid or not.
It was also not disclosed whether he was rescued by security agencies.
The authorities, including the Police and Kaduna State Government were yet to react on the development as at the time filing this report.
