Lagos State Commissioner for Health Prof. Akin Abayomi yesterday expressed interest in the Modular Health Care Facility (MHF) recently launched by Alpha Mead Health Care Management Services (AMHS).

He described the MHF as an exciting innovation that will boost access to health care in Nigeria.

Abayomi spoke during an inspection and walkthrough of the MHF at the Gbagada General Hospital.

The MHF is a fully-equipped health care facility that can be built and operational within 30 days.

It is a prefabricated, customisable and transportable portacabin with installed medical equipment and health care technology applications that can be set on wheels, coupled together, and start operations in a few days.

“It’s innovative; nice. I’m happy to see it’s an indigenous product; it has all the required technical backdrops,” the commissioner said.
