Nollywood star actor, Ebun Oloyede popularly known as Olaiya Igwe has said that he would be venturing into social media skit-making in no time.
The veteran actor, who has in recent times featured in trending Instagram skits, revealed that he would be producing his skits soon.
Olaiya, as he is fondly called, has featured in skits produced by Mr. Macaroni, Cute Abiola, and Yemi Elesho.
“I have it in mind to start my own skits but not now as I am still doing more skits with my children in the industry”, he told The Nation.

Speaking on his experience working with the young skit makers/comedians, he said: “As an actor, I am bound to play any role when invited and that’s what happened. Mr Macaroni is one of my sons in the industry. He invited me to partake in his skit which I honored. Likewise, my boy, Biola popularly known as Lawyer Kunle and they are all doing well to me. Yemi Elosho also invited me and I did it as well. It’s acting at the end of the day and there is no big deal in it so far I can interpret the role given to me I have no problem”.
He continues: “As a professional, you must know how to manage time especially when you are stage-trained. I started with stage and it is still in my blood that is why I can meet up with their system”.
Igwe also noted that the skits have added to his fan base “I know it adds a lot of fame to what I have before. Things are moving on social media even though it has both positive and negative effects depending on how you use it. From that angle, I give kudos to social media, people appreciate me so much and I thank God for that.”
