“When I hear a beat, the lyrics just flow out. When I’m in my element, they just come together”, he said.

Speaking further on his lyrics, he said: “My Lyrics can be both sweet and naughty but fun. When I write a song, the lyrics may be a thought or an experience. But it’s important to me that they’re relatable to my fans.”.

Sharing his most memorable achievement so far, he said: “I would have to say my being able to record myself with my mobile studio. I’ve spent countless hours learning how to operate my equipment. I love being able to take my time perfecting my craft”, said Jay The King.

On what is lacking in today’s music culture, he said: “I think that the industry has made it very difficult for up and coming artists to be heard. There is a lot of really good artists out there that are never heard because they don’t have the resources. That’s one of my dreams, to one day help those people with a platform to achieve their dreams”.
