Leaders of the Arewa Youth Congress of Nigeria (AYCN), has described as heartening the role of the youths in the nation’s socioeconomic development thus far.
The National President of AYCN, Alh. Rilwan Musa Daura spoke at the award presentation to the Chairman/CEO of Green Sahara Farms, Malam Suleiman Dikwa for being a role model to many successful Arewa youths in the country.
He was also decorated as the Hasken Mattasan Arewa.
The event which took place at the company’s corporate headquarters in Jos, had in attendance Green Sahara’s top management Staff, National and State EXCO members of Arewa Youth Congress of Nigeria, Captains of industry and among others.

According to Daura, Arewa youths need leaders who will not steal, leaders who are not corrupt and one who will always listen to the yearning and aspiration of his people with a view to addressed them.
He noted that the history of Nigeria will not be completed without mentioning the contribution and sacrifice of Arewa youths.
Daura also decried the nefarious activities of the Boko Haram in the North East and farmers’ herders clash in the North Central geo- political zone, while calling on the youths in the north not to allow themselves to use by selfish politicians who did not mean well for this country.
In his remarks, Malam Suleiman Dikwa said with this recognition, he is poised to mentor so many Arewa youths to be self-sufficient with a view to contribute their quota to the growth and development of their father’s land.
