A freight firm, Oneport 365, has launched a technology to track lost containers of customers on the high sea.
This was disclosed by the co-founder of the digital freight company, Mr Hio Sola Usidame, during a virtual media parley organised by the freight company for journalists.
He also unfolded plans to usher in a radical change that will enhance African participation in global trade with a complete systematic transformation.
Usidame said the OnePort 365 tracking system importers and exporters would be able to track and monitor their goods and services while on the high sea.

He said that the maritime sector has been facing the challenge of loss of containers on the high sea which are worth a fortune.
“OnePort 365 freight management is seamless and it’s services include GPS for tracking ocean freight, inland haulage, short and long term warehousing
“Through this device, the company would improve the operational efficiency for scalable growth and cash flow.
“Containers are often lost in transit and there is no visibility, some of them are worth a fortune and are unaccounted for but one tracking system will enable customers to track and monitor their goods in real time,” he said
