Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide has reiterated its commitment to the protection, projection and promotion of the culture, values and development of the Igbo nation across the world.
National Secretary Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, in a statement yesterday, said the apex Igbo youth body had resolved to provide a healthy leadership for Igbo youths globally.
He urged the youth to participate in the programmes and activities of the organisation, to maximise the impact and serve the purpose for its establishment.

The statement said: “We hail the National Executive Committee of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, led by Prof. George Obiozor, the president general, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, for the presentation of Certificate of Return (2021 to 2025) to the new leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing led by Mr. Damian Okafor, the national youth leader, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.
“We also salute Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano and the youth-friendly President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Anambra State chapter, Prince Emeka Odegba, for their fatherly and moral support.
“In absolute solidarity with the position of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, the national secretary, we express the resolve of the apex Igbo youth body to provide adequate and healthy leadership for Igbo youths worldwide, and her determination to protect, project and promote the culture, values and development of the Igbo nation worldwide.
“Sequel to the above, we urge Igbo youths to participate in the programmes and activities of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, to maximise the impact and serve the purpose. Together, Ala Igbo is safe and secure.”
