The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Usman Baba has introduced practical strategies to end the security challenges which Zamfara State is experiencing.
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Zone 10 Sokoto, Mr Ali Janga disclosed this yesterday when he visited Zamfara over the recent security situation in the state.
In a chat with reporters after meeting with police officers and men at Police Headquarters Gusau, the AIG said the police under the I-G, Police, re-strategised its measures to end security challenges in Zamfara and other parts of the country.

“I am here because the I-G directed me to brief the officers and men of the command about their constitutional duties.
“We adopted new measures to improve security in the state. We are going to partner with other security agencies to tackle the challenges,” Janga said.
The AIG also visited the Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello to seek the traditional ruler’s support in the fight against bandits in the state.
